Actress and professional funny-woman Amy Schumer is known for many things: her impeccable comedic timing, razor-sharp wit, and her famously voluptuous figure. While Schumer’s weight has fluctuated over the years, she has always managed to look effortless and amazing. Unfortunately, not everyone in Hollywood has been supportive of the blonde bombshell’s generous curves.

The most recent controversy happened during an interview with the Quinn & Cantara Morning Show. Everything was going well until Quinn called Schumer “chunky.” While he may have meant the comment as a joke, Amy certainly didn’t find it funny. She ended the interview immediately and hung up on Quinn. She also wasted no time in blocking Quinn and the radio show from her Twitter account.

Shortly after the incident, Quinn reached out to Amy with a long and heartfelt open letter. He blamed the careless remark on his weight struggles and asked for her forgiveness. Amy accepted his apology but stopped short of unblocking him for her Twitter page.

This was not the first time that Schumer had come under fire for her weight. Writer Jeffrey Wells, who wrote a review for her movie “Trainwreck,” stated that he felt the actress was too “chubby” to be believable as a love interest. This time, instead of getting angry, Amy responded by posting a jaw-dropping picture of herself wearing little more than a smile. Once again, she proved that looking good is the best revenge.
