Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have decided to get a divorce. The two have been married since July 4, 1982, and a source close to the family leaked the information to ET.

The rumors of divorce Sharon Osbourne denied during a taping of The Talk in 2013. At the same time, she confirmed Ozzy was struggling with sobriety. She spoke about his battle using alcohol and prescriptions for over a year before she talked about it. Sharon was unaware he was using and only knew he was occasionally drinking. She did not realize to what extent he was drinking.

Her statement on The Talk was made after he posted an apology on Facebook. The post was directed to his family and friends about his behavior while also providing a positive update about his sobriety, saying that he was 44 days sober in the post.

Ozzy’s sobriety is not a factor in the divorce, and he has been sober since that time in 2013, according to E! News. This leaves, even more, to wonder about why the two are splitting after almost 34 years of marriage.

According to, the two are no longer living together, and Sharon has been interviewing several divorce lawyers.

The two initially met while Black Sabbath was becoming popular in the 1970s. She later became his manager. Surprisingly, she is still his manager despite the pending divorce.
